Pottawatomie Telephone Co

About Us

Pottawatomie Telephone Company is a local provider of voice, video and Internet services to customers in central Oklahoma just east of Oklahoma City.  The company has a strong history and deep roots in the area dating back to the early 1900's.  Potelco has always been locally owned but under current ownership since 1993.

As an Incumbent Local Exchange Company (ILEC), Potelco serves approximately 2000 telephone subscribers in Bowlegs, Earlsboro, Pearson, Sasakwa, and Tribbey.

Over the last 10 year Pottawatomie Telephone Company has invested heavily into the local infrastructure to bring our customers broadband services such as High-Speed Internet and Digital TV.  To do so, Potelco installed a 120-mile local fiber optic network in 2004 and were able to greatly increase our broadband capabilities and coverage for our customers.

Pottawatomie Telephone Company's parent company, MBO LLC, a full solutions communications provider, operates a 1500-mile regional network throughout the state supporting Pottawatomie Telephone Company's product offerings.

A privately held corporation, MBO is made up of third generation Oklahoma telecommunication principles.  MBO LLC, through its subsidiaries, provides voice, video, and data services, on both a wholesale and retail level, utilizing a variety of technologies to customers in a four state area.  Additionally, MBO has strategic relationships with other providers on a regional and national basis.
